The Minimoto is an excellent option if you're into having the performance and simplicity of a V-Brake with a short pull ratio. This comes in handy if you're trying to run a modern road lever/shifter combo on your bike with canti brake studs. Max tire clearance is 44-45mm. The cable routing for these is full housing down to the v-noodle that hooks into the arm. This makes it a great option as a front brake if you're into running rackless handlebar bags and don't want it sitting on a bare cable like it would with a canti (unless you have a front cable hanger that bolts to your fork crown). It's a perfect brake for the canti and single speed Lightning Bolt.
We've found these work best with a wider rim, say 23mm external width or more.
