NITTO MX-2 Stem
These days it seems 22.2mm clamp handlebars are becoming more and more common on non-bmx bikes by the day. When it comes to putting one on your quill stem bike the options can be fairly limited as most 22.2 clamp quill stems are old bmx stems, and old bmx bikes actually used a 21.1mm quill diameter. Confusing, I know. Thankfully, Wald has made a shim to adapt 21.1 quills to 22.2 steerer tubes for ages at this point. In an effort to cut out some confusion and offer a solution, we've paired one of those Wald shims up with NITTO's vintage bmx inspired block-of-aluminum MX-2 stem. This pair is a fantastic, cool looking option to get that meter wide Doom bar onto your Nor'Easter.
